Archaeopteryx

Is there a link between dinosaurs and present-day birds. Here is a picture displaying this supposed half bird half dinosaur about 150 million-year-old ,called Archaeopteryx,(meaning "ancient wing") the first-known example of a feathered dinosaur?
Archaeopteryx had a wingspan of about 1.5 feet (0.5m) and about 1 foot or 30 cm from beak to tail. Weighing anywhere from 11 to 18 ounces or 300 to 500 grams.
It was about the size of a crow.
